Genesis 5

1This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;

זֶה סֵפֶר תֹּולְדֹת אָדָם בְּיֹום בְּרֹא אֱלֹהִים אָדָם בִּדְמוּת אֱלֹהִים עָשָׂה אֹתֹו׃ (2949)

2Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

זָכָר וּנְקֵבָה בְּרָאָם וַיְבָרֶךְ אֹתָם וַיִּקְרָא אֶת־שְׁמָם אָדָם בְּיֹום הִבָּרְאָם׃ (2761)

3And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth:

וַיְחִי אָדָם שְׁלֹשִׁים וּמְאַת שָׁנָה וַיֹּולֶד בִּדְמוּתֹו כְּצַלְמֹו וַיִּקְרָא אֶת־שְׁמֹו שֵׁת׃ (4025)

4And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:

וַיִּהְיוּ יְמֵי־אָדָם אַחֲרֵי הֹולִידֹו אֶת־שֵׁת שְׁמֹנֶה מֵאֹת שָׁנָה וַיֹּולֶד בָּנִים וּבָנֹות׃ (3336)

5And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

וַיִּהְיוּ כָּל־יְמֵי אָדָם אֲשֶׁר־חַי תְּשַׁע מֵאֹות שָׁנָה וּשְׁלֹשִׁים שָׁנָה וַיָּמֹת׃ (3780)

6And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:

וַיְחִי־שֵׁת חָמֵשׁ שָׁנִים וּמְאַת שָׁנָה וַיֹּולֶד אֶת־אֱנֹושׁ׃ (3098)

8And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.

וַיִּהְיוּ כָּל־יְמֵי־שֵׁת שְׁתֵּים עֶשְׂרֵה שָׁנָה וּתְשַׁע מֵאֹות שָׁנָה וַיָּמֹת׃ (4561)

11And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years: and he died.

וַיִּהְיוּ כָּל־יְמֵי אֱנֹושׁ חָמֵשׁ שָׁנִים וּתְשַׁע מֵאֹות שָׁנָה וַיָּמֹת׃ (3286)

14And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.

וַיִּהְיוּ כָּל־יְמֵי קֵינָן עֶשֶׂר שָׁנִים וּתְשַׁע מֵאֹות שָׁנָה וַיָּמֹת׃ (3361)

20And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.

וַיִּהְיוּ כָּל־יְמֵי־יֶרֶד שְׁתַּיִם וְשִׁשִּׁים שָׁנָה וּתְשַׁע מֵאֹות שָׁנָה וַיָּמֹת׃ (4156)

27And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.

וַיִּהְיוּ כָּל־יְמֵי מְתוּשֶׁלַח תֵּשַׁע וְשִׁשִּׁים שָׁנָה וּתְשַׁע מֵאֹות שָׁנָה וַיָּמֹת׃ (4746)

28And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:

וַיְחִי־לֶמֶךְ שְׁתַּיִם וּשְׁמֹנִים שָׁנָה וּמְאַת שָׁנָה וַיֹּולֶד בֵּן׃ (2585)

31And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.

וַיְהִי כָּל־יְמֵי־לֶמֶךְ שֶׁבַע וְשִׁבְעִים שָׁנָה וּשְׁבַע מֵאֹות שָׁנָה וַיָּמֹת׃ (3022)

32And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

וַיְהִי־נֹחַ בֶּן־חֲמֵשׁ מֵאֹות שָׁנָה וַיֹּולֶד נֹחַ אֶת־שֵׁם אֶת־חָם וְאֶת־יָפֶת׃ (3492)
