Infancy Gospel of Thomas 18
1And after some time there was work of building. And there came a great tumult, and Jesus arose and went thither: and he saw a man lying dead, and took hold of his hand and said: Man, I say unto thee, arise and do thy work. And immediately he arose and worshipped him.
Μετὰ δὲ χρόνον τινὰ οἰκοδομῆς γενομένης καὶ θορύβου μεγάλου, ἵστατο ὁ Ἰησοῦς καὶ ἀπῆλθεν ἕως ἐκεῖ. καὶ ἰδὼν ἄνθρωπον νεκρὸν κείμενον ἐπελάβετο τῆς χειρὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ εἶπεν· σοὶ λέγω, ἄνθρωπε, ἀνάστα, ποίει τὸ ἔργον σου. καὶ εὐθέως ἀναστὰς προσεκύνησεν αὐτόν. (21622)
2And when the multitude saw it, they were astonished, and said: This young child is from heaven: for he hath saved many souls from death, and hath power to save them all his life long.
Ἰδὼν δὲ ὁ ὄχλος ἐθαύμασεν καὶ εἶπεν· τοῦτο τὸ παιδίον οὐράνιόν ἐστιν· πολλὰς γὰρ ψυχὰς ἔσωσεν ἐκ θανάτου, καὶ ἔχει σῶσαι ἕως πάσης τῆς ζωῆς αὐτοῦ. (16438)
