Apostolic Constitutions, Book II 29

1For if Aaron, because he declared to Pharaoh the words of God from Moses, is called a prophet; and Moses himself is called a god to Pharaoh, on account of his being at once a king and a high priest, as God says to him, I have made you a god to Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet; why do you not also esteem the mediators of the word to be prophets, and reverence them as gods?
