Told of the apostles Peter and Paul; author unknown, date uncertain. A later legend of Paul's coming to Rome, the opposition of the Jews of Rome and of Nero, and the deaths of the two apostles. Chapter 2 is a separate story, the woman Perpetua who gave Paul her handkerchief on the way to his beheading, and her own martyrdom; she is not the Perpetua of the Passion of Perpetua and Felicitas. Not part of any church's canon.
