Acts of Andrew and Matthias (in the City of the Man-eaters)

Told of the apostles Andrew and Matthias; author unknown, date uncertain. A later Greek legend in the tradition of the apocryphal Acts: Matthias is seized and imprisoned in a city of cannibals, and the Lord sends Andrew to free him, sailing to the city with the Lord Himself as the unrecognised helmsman of the boat. This is the shorter form printed in the Ante-Nicene Fathers. Not part of any church's canon.
