tendeth

The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin.

As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death.

There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.

In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.

The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.

Though indeed he have love, yet is he wicked who concealeth what is evil for the sake of the good name, but the end of the action tendeth unto evil.
