As the fountain gushes out its water,

So my heart gushes out the praise of the Lord and my lips utter praise to Him, and my tongue His psalms.

I stretched out my hands and approached my Lord:

And bring us out from the bonds of darkness: and open to us the door by which we shall come out to thee.
