Them take, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning thee, are nothing; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, and keepest the law.

he was so impressed with the magnificence of the place, and so wondered at the orderly arrangements of the temple, that he considered entering the sanctuary itself.

For thus saith the Scripture in a certain place, “I will appoint their bishops in righteousness, and their deacons in faith.”

The ministration of the priests is in every way unsurpassed both for its physical endurance and for its orderly and silent service.
