groaning

And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.

And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.

Even to day is my complaint bitter: my stroke is heavier than my groaning.

In your lifetime your bodies have not received a recompense in proportion to your goodness, but in the period of your existence have sinners existed; in the period of execration and of punishment.

THEN God looked again upon Adam and his weeping and groaning, and the Word of God came to him, and said unto him:--
