forswear

Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:

For either they are mad when they be merry, or prophesy lies, or live unjustly, or else lightly forswear themselves.

'Follow my example, O brothers. Do not for ever desert me, and forswear not our brotherhood in nobility of soul.

I do not forswear the noble bond of brotherhood.
